Vintage Lunt Silversmiths English Pewter Decanter

Modernist form featuring a a graduated body, stepped ridge to the stem, and a flared rim topped with the original bulbous-form stopper. Good age present (patina along with a dimple to the stopper, as shown). Overall, very good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.

This design (defined by the fruit tree and olive green border) is part of the ‘Corsica’ series. This piece can be displayed on a table top for decorative purposes or used as a server.
Measures: H: 1.25″ x W: 11.5″ x D: 11.5″ (pen is used to illustrate scale).

Vintage Petite Studio Ceramic Green Lidded Sugar Bowl by Deanna Nichols
$200.00Variegated green studio ceramic lidded sugar bowl by ceramicist, Deanna Nichols (b. 1942-2017, Missouri).
Holding a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute (1965) and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University in California (1967), Nichols was educated in painting and complex pottery making techniques at an academic level and later served as an educator at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA, and The Chrysler Museum School in Norfolk, VA.
The second floor of the new student center at Kansas City Art Institute is named for Nichols (see last image).
This diminutive studio piece from Nichols’ early, post-graduate era (late 1960s) possesses an organic sculptural quality furthered by the jade-tone green glaze employed. Blue linear accents and brown stippled detail enhance the texture of the piece.
Very good, vintage condition with natural crazing present (no losses/damage).
Unsigned – from the family of Deanna Nichols’ personal collection of her work.

Vintage Swedish Art Deco Dirigold Goldware Cocktail Shaker with Monogrammed “IK”
$600.00Luxurious urn-form cocktail shaker monogrammed “IK” by Dirigold (ca. 1930s, USA).
Dirigold was a gold-toned alloy created in 1914 by Carl Molin to appear like gold, without the downside of tarnishing. In 1935, the company was changed the name from ‘Dirigold’ to ‘Dirilyte,’ as to not mislead customers into thinking the alloy contained actual gold.
This vase is marked at the bottom with the 3 clover marks and ‘Dirigold’ brand, hence pre-date 1935.
A later Dirilyte cocktail shaker in the same gold-tone metal alloy was notably gifted to President Franklin Roosevelt in 1938 by longtime Democratic political figure and U.S. Attorney General, Homer Cummings.
Good, newly polished condition with light patina/spots/scuffs remaining.
