Steel and Enameled Porcelain Abstract Brutalist Table Sculpture
This impressive Brutalist table sculpture is comprised of distressed circular cutouts of steel sheets supported by three bent steel rods for feet. The sugaring (oxidation) present on each disc was an intentional effect of the welding process and enhances the depth and texture of the work. There are three enameled porcelain orbs in the sculpture’s interior, which can be seen from all angles. There is no artist attribution, but this piece was assembled by an exceptional artisan who understood technique and composition.
