Vintage Italian Magazine Table in Walnut, Leather, and Metal Attr. to Ico Parisi
$1,800.00
Sculptural magazine table/rack attributed to Ico Parisi (ca. 1950s, Italy).
Composed of a black enameled metal frame with dual brass rods supporting a leather sling surmounted by a walnut surface attached by brass cylindrical brackets.
Though small in size, this table is robust in character with design attributes including dramatically sharp lines, flared back legs, and a highly functional form (demountable for economic transport/storage and easily reassembled).
Conservatively restored condition (walnut has been refinished) with soiling to the leather, tarnish to the unpolished brass bars – largely concealed by the leather holder, and black enamel losses, as shown. Remains an elegant, structurally sound piece.
Sourced in Rome, Italy.
H: 24″ x L: 16.75″ x D: 10.75″
