Pair of vintage slipper chairs designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar (ca. 1950s, USA).
Previously redone in a vibrant, cheerful floral upholstery (circa 1970s) with a single row of button-tufted details to both the back and seat.
Seats are mounted to sculptural ebonized mahogany bases with cross stretchers and gently splayed back legs.
Upholstery is in very clean, vintage condition showing minimal signs of use, and mahogany bases are in very good, conservatively restored condition with a few nicks, as shown.
