Petite Folk Art Victorian Style Gold Bamboo Three Tier Curio Shelf / Bookshelf
$900.00
Petite Folk Art/Aesthestic Movement/Victorian-Style three-tiered etagere/bookcase/shelving unit (ca. early 20th Century, USA).
Composed of a gold painted bamboo frame (paint is old – roughly the same era as the shelf) with metal hardware supporting three shelves and adorned with round, hand-carved finials and diagonal uprights to reinforce the back.
Narrow, diminutive shelving unit suitable for any room, but ideal for a small space like a hallway/foyer or powder/washroom.
Can additionally be wall-mounted for additional support.
Very good, vintage condition with natural patina throughout and general wear (green spots/scuffing/paint losses to the shelves). Structurally sound – piece has been restored to reinforce stability.
