Matte brown-charcoal and green glazed ceramic tiger relief plate/plaque designed by David Gil for Cooperative Design Bennington Vermont (a name later changed to Bennington Pottery after 1962).
Desirable, uncommon piece in excellent, vintage condition with no losses (the white dot photographed is an unglazed spot, not a chip or imperfection).
Retains the hook for wall mounting on the reverse.
Signed “Cooperative Design Bennington Vermont” with the human hand and lower arm cypher.
