Florentine gilt-wood hinged jewelry/decorative box with hand-painted detail opening to reveal a painted beige interior (ca. 1940s, Italy).
Attractive color combination of turquoise and gold leaf detailing with embossed “cloud” motif with scroll and floral accents.
Very good, vintage condition with light wear / patina present to the paint and gilt, as shown.
Retains the “Made in Italy” label to the reverse.
