Mahogany and Bamboo Student Desk in the Manner of Royère

This exceptional desk, in the style of Jean Royère, is comprised of bamboo legs, inset bamboo side slats and a mahogany frame / drawers. This piece is of supreme quality including solid mahogany planks, drawer pulls and solid secondary woods. Restored to its original brilliance this piece represents an experimental European approach to modern forms and function. The space between the middle of the front bamboo leg and the bottom of the cabinet is 19.5″ long, so the desk can accommodate a small-scale desk chair. The depth with the drawers fully extended is 36″.
