J.V. Orel for Zoo Line Hippo Trinket Box
This 1950s Whimsical oak box by Orel for Zoo Line features hinged eyes and a curly tail. The hippo’s mouth opens to reveal a secret compartment for jewelry, rings, watches, or coins.
Very minor wear to the edges of the ears; otherwise in excellent, vintage shape.
