New Hope School Sculptural Cherrywood Tripod Floor Lamp

This elegant Mid-Century floor lamp is comprised of a solid cherrywood central support and tripod splayed legs. The technique and materials are reminiscent of pieces designed by the New Hope woodworkers of the Mid-20th Century (Wharton Esherick and Philip Lloyd Powell specifically), but the piece is unsigned.
The wiring and socket have been replaced, and a pull-string has been added. The vintage shade pairs nicely with the lamp, but is not original.
The dimensions of the shade are:
19″ H.
14″ diameter.
The height without the shade is 51.5″.
The height with the shade is 67″.
