Fredrik Kayser Loveseat in Leather and Teak
This two-seat sofa was designed by Fredrik Kayser for Vatne Lenestolfabrikk (Norway) in the 1960s. Magnificent frame in sculpted teak with armrests that best resemble two conjoined cul-de-sacs. Solid patinated brass posts connect the seats to the frame in the back. The original design offered two options: one with two contoured, floating seats (as is the case with our model) and a version in which the seats are combined to form a single, continuous seat / back (more commonly seen). We preserved the original design by maintaining two separate seats. The amber-tan leather and foam are new. Arm height: 20.1″ Seat height (at the lowest point): 12.25 Seat height (at the edge): 15.5″.
