Substantial Mid-Century Italian Modern Cased and Frosted Glass Lamp

This spectacular, large Italian table lamp is comprised of two sections: The frosted glass dome mounts to the sculptural base. The lamp has been fully rewired, but the original ‘on / off” polished chrome square switch was salvaged. We purchased this piece at a gallery in Rome as ‘Fontana Arte,’ but the attribution is unconfirmed. It has elements of both Bobo Piccoli and Max Ingrand’s designs for Fontana Arte, but is unattributed.
