Early 20th Century Miniature Leopard

These animals, known as works of miniature taxidermy, were created in the early 20th century. Often made by taxidermy apprentices for practice, these were also sold as children’s toys at zoo gift shops. Handcrafted / stitched with real fur.
This spotted leopard is a nice example with nice facial details and a thick fur coat.
General wear commensurate with age. Remains in good, vintage condition.
